Responsible for supporting the indirect sales channels for assigned territory. Complete initiatives outlined in the Annual Product Business Plan and meet or exceed the assigned regional revenue goals. Achieves short and long-term goals for sales, customer and market development. Achieves profitability goals by maintaining divisional pricing strategies and operating department within assigned budget. Provides effective information to product marketing and design engineers to facilitate creation of new products, upgrade existing products in support of Yokogawa Corporation of America (YCA) and Yokogawa World Headquarters (YHQ) goals.

DUTIES/SKILLS
• Meet and exceed revenue goals for assigned region.
• Forecast and develop projects in respective regions.
• Develop business and account plans to grow regional business.
• Develop and follow through on new business opportunities.
• Maintain technical knowledge of responsible products, application of products or solutions for target industries and relevant competition.
• Drive indirect sales channel in developing and winning customer opportunities.
• Actively engage YCA / YHQ product management to ensure regional requirements are included in product development, service, promotion, and inventory plans.
• Lead and execute initiatives and promotional plans with indirect and direct sales channel.
• Actively engage YCA corporate marketing to define and improve messaging, marketing collateral and sales tools.
• Support Channel Partners and Proposal Team to ensure accurate and value differentiated proposals are presented to customers.
• Demonstrate ability to motivate and influence others to meet your business objectives.

METRICS
• Performance to plan through orders and profit for assigned products and geography.
• Implementation of relevant elements of the annual business plans for product, indirect and direct sales channels.

SPECIFICATIONS
Education: Preferred Bachelor's degree (B.S.) in Engineering from four-year college or university.
Experience: 5+ years selling in a direct or indirect position preferred.
Travel: 50%
