The purpose of this position is to be the operational point of contact and primary liaison for Corebridge Financial Retirement Services' largest retirement plan clients. This position coordinates all activities related to the operational administration of assigned plans.

We want to hear from you today if you can:

  • Oversee the operational aspects for group client retirement plans to ensure that plan sponsors’ requests are completed timely and accurately
  • Utilize a strong understanding of retirement plan provisions and how this applies to day-to-day operations
  • Respond to questions, perform research and provide group clients with pertinent plan- related information regarding plan activity and operations for their assigned plans
  • Maintain an average case load of 18-22 groups of various size; complexities may include controlled groups and individually-designed plan documents and groups with special exceptions and provisions
  • Use project management skills to coordinate client requests, problem resolution, and retirement plan changes
  • Conduct regular review and oversight of strategic group relationships to ensure accurate plan messaging, transaction processing and reporting.  Provide supplemental reporting to management as needed.
  • Establish working relationships with others within the organization in order to achieve common objectives

What we are looking for

  • Bachelor’s degree (Four years’ relevant work experience may be substituted for degree requirement)
  • Two years of retirement plan administration experience with knowledge of pension plan types and defined contribution plans
  • Proven leadership skills
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Ability to independently prioritize multiple deliverables in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Ability to analyze data, determine root cause and provide/develop an appropriate solution for resolution
