Requirements
Supervising Warehouse Staff:
Leading, training, and managing a team of warehouse workers.
Ensuring staff carry out their tasks efficiently and adhere to safety protocols.
Assigning tasks and providing guidance and support to team members.
Inventory Management:
Monitoring and managing inventory levels.
Conducting regular inventory checks and updating the warehouse management system.
Forecasting inventory needs and ensuring adequate stock levels.
Shipping and Receiving:
Coordinating the receiving, storing, and shipping of goods.
Ensuring accurate and timely processing of shipments.
Maintaining accurate records of inventory and shipments.
Safety and Compliance:
Enforcing safety rules and regulations within the warehouse.
Regularly inspecting the warehouse premises for any safety hazards.
Ensuring that any safety discrepancies are addressed promptly.
Process Improvement:
Identifying and implementing process improvements to enhance efficiency and productivity.
Optimizing warehouse workflows to minimize errors and reduce operational costs.
Other Duties:
Assisting with other warehouse tasks as needed.
Maintaining a clean and organized warehouse environment.
Training new hires and providing ongoing support to existing staff.
