Job Summary

A leading insurance agency is seeking an experienced and motivated Commercial Insurance Sales Manager to lead their sales team. A strong background in commercial insurance sales, proven leadership skills, and a track record of driving sales growth is essential. This role is responsible for developing and implementing sales strategies, leading and coaching a team of sales agents, and building strong relationships with clients and prospects. Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute sales strategies to meet or exceed revenue targets and sales goals.
  • Lead, train, and mentor a team of commercial insurance sales agents to maximize their performance and productivity.
  • Conduct regular sales meetings, performance reviews, and provide feedback and coaching to team members.
  • Collaborate with marketing and underwriting teams to identify market opportunities, develop targeted sales campaigns, and enhance product offerings.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, prospects, and industry partners to drive business growth and retention.
  • Analyze market trends, competitive landscape, and customer needs to identify growth opportunities and develop innovative sales strategies.
  • Monitor and track sales metrics, KPIs, and pipeline activity to assess performance and identify areas for improvement.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, company policies, and industry standards.

 

Qualifications / Requirements

  • Demonstrates strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with clients, insurance carriers, and team members.
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong knowledge of commercial insurance products and risk management; demonstrates the ability to provide expert advice to clients.
  • Experienced in building and maintaining positive client relationships, ensuring exceptional customer service and satisfaction.
  • Holds an active Property and Casualty (P&C) Insurance License.
  • Preferred Agency Management System Experience: Applied Epic
  • Proven track record of success in commercial insurance sales, with at least 5 years of experience in sales.
  • Previous experience in sales leadership, team management, or a related role.
  • Strong knowledge of commercial insurance products, underwriting principles, and industry regulations.
  • Ability to motivate, inspire, and lead a sales team to achieve targets and exceed expectations.
  • Previous experience as an Insurance Producer or in a similar insurance sales role.
  • Knowledge of insurance agency operations as they pertain to sales.

 

Compensation Package
