Prepare Crude Oil transaction confirmations ranging in complexity from basic to complex.
Review externally prepared Crude Oil transaction confirmations and compare to internal systems, as applicable, to ensure deal parameters and any additional information are accurately reflected in the confirmations.
Provide back-up support to the Sr. Advisor Financial Confirmations role in preparing, administering, negotiating and verifying Financial Confirmations which include Interest Rate, FX and corporate commodity and equity transactions for Enbridge Corporate entities, ensuring transactional risk is mitigated by timely and accurate verification per applicable Risk Policies, SOX and audit requirements.
Responsible to ensure monthly, adhoc and 1st of month pricing is updated timely and accurately into Egistix system, for Accounting’s monthly settlements
Liaise with internal personnel (Contract Negotiator, Accounting, Pricing Analyst and Traders) to ensure accuracy of transaction confirmation terms.
Liaise with external counterparties to ensure correctness and mutual acceptance of transaction confirmation terms.
Follow the Contracts Policy and Records Management Policy for all confirmations issued for execution in an organized and up-to-date manner.
Data entry and validation of transaction terms using Egistix, ICE eConfirm and OpenLink.
Provide support to the Contract Negotiator, by providing increased independence and accountability for drafting, reviewing and amending agreements, ensuring all contracts align with the Contracts Policy and related procedures.
Manage Contracts SharePoint Site of all TEMUS crude oil contracts issued for execution in an organized and up-to-date manner to enable control of document flow, follow up on outstanding matters and ensuring timely execution of documents.
Provide internal and external auditors detailed walkthrough of all controls on an annual basis. Possess solid understanding of control environments for confirmations area to identify and report Risk policy violations and non-compliance items.
Working with the Contract Negotiator, to ensure all confirmations affected by Force Majeures are retrieved for responses to affected counterparties.
University degree or college diploma in business / commerce or equivalent work experience
Excellent attention to detail

Proficient in Word, Sharepoint and Excel
