The Houston office serves as the North American headquarters for SHI, functioning as the central business operation hub for all our Business Units in the US. This facility is equipped with extensive laboratories, warehouses, and office spaces, and is staffed by over 70 employees. 

Sanhua International is looking for an Electrical Engineer who specialize in thermal management systems to join our residential business unit in our Houston office. 

Main Duties: 

  • Work with electronic components within heating and cooling management systems, including electrical expansion valves, electronic water pumps, pressure transducers, pressure sensors, and gas modulating valves. 

  • Utilize the Sanhua tool to verify or monitor specifications of electronic components, such as airflow measurement and superheat measurement. 

  • Collaborate with the design team in China on the PCB design for the electrical control unit in the thermal management system, covering controllers, fan drives, EU drives, and defrost boards. 

  • Use Matlab and Altium tools to work with the China design validation team on evaluating the functionality and performance of the PCB board. 

  • Develop automation functions using Python to enhance the efficiency of scanning and packing processes on the production line for electronic components. 

  • Assist customers in understanding product design through CATIA and Fusion 360. 

Requirements: 

  • Master of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering. 

  • 6 months’ experience in integrated circuits and systems design.
