Bachelor's degree + 3-7yrs experience in AutoCAD Electrical designing, motor controls + knowledge of NEC Electrical code + ability to travel up to 10% to sites

Job Responsibilities:

• -Design electric motor controls for overhead cranes and hoists.
  


• -Calculate wire sizes/overload protection for cranes up to 800V DC and 4160V AC.
  


• -Apply specifications of Magnetic Motor Starters, Relays, and AC inverters.
  


• -Assist in all phases of product development engineering activities.
  


• -Resolve manufacturing problems by collaborating with engineers and technicians.
  


• -Prepare single-line diagrams, panel layouts, and interconnect drawings.
  


• -Size and specify purchase components/BOMs based on standards and vendor information.
  


• -Provide input for design improvements to enhance functions or reduce costs.
  


• -Modify/improve existing circuit designs as necessary.
  


• -Work with mechanical engineering and manufacturing for control system design.
  


• -Develop connection/cable diagrams and general arrangement drawings.
  


• -Travel to sites for meetings or troubleshooting control systems when required.
  

Job Qualifications:

• -Bachelors Degree
  


• -3-7yrs experience in AutoCAD Electrical designing, motor controls + knowledge of NEC Electrical code
  


• -Experience with AutoCAD 2016 or Zuken E3
  


• -Experience with PLC & HMI Programming
  


• -Experience in Rockwell, Siemens, or Danfoss PLC/VFD programming
  

• -Ability to travel up to 10% to sites for meetings & troubleshooting
