Food Production Warehouse Manager

1 Resource Group is seeking a Food Production Warehouse Manager to join our team. In this crucial role, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our warehouse operations in a food production environment. This position requires a strong understanding of food safety regulations, inventory management, and team leadership to ensure that products are stored and distributed efficiently, while adhering to the highest quality and safety standards.

As the Food Production Warehouse Manager, your key responsibilities will include:

• Managing daily warehouse operations, including receiving, warehousing, and distribution of food products.
• Ensuring compliance with food safety standards and regulations including HAACP, GMP, and FDA guidelines.
• Implementing and enforcing standard operating procedures for warehouse processes.
• Leading, training, and supervising warehouse staff, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.
• Monitoring inventory levels and conducting regular audits to ensure accuracy.
• Coordinating with production teams to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment.
• Identifying and implementing process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce waste.
• Maintaining facility cleanliness and organization in compliance with food safety standards.

The ideal candidate will possess:

• 3-5 years of experience in warehouse management, preferably in the food production or distribution industry.
• Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices.
• Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a diverse team.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills, with attention to detail.
• Ability to analyze data and implement solutions for continuous improvement.
• Proficiency in warehouse management systems and inventory control software.
• Bachelor's degree in food science, logistics, business management or a related field preferred.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
