The General Dentist will be responsible for providing dental care that includes examinations, diagnosis, treatment planning, operative dentistry, oral surgery and pediatric dentistry. Dental Services may also include writing prescription of medications, providing dental prophylaxis, scaling and root planning, dental sealants and oral hygiene instructions including nutritional counselling. Primary duty will be providing dental coverage for dental emergencies.
Key Responsibilities:
Diagnose and treat problems teeth, gums and tissues of the mouth, including preventative counselling.
Provide instruction on diet, brushing, flossing, the use of fluorides, and aspects of dental care.
Remove tooth decay, fill cavities, examine x-rays, straighten teeth, perform extractions, and repair fractured teeth within the capabilities of the facility.
Perform limited corrective surgery on gums and supporting bones to treat gum diseases.
Administer anesthetics and write prescriptions for antibiotics and other medications.
Provide dental and community outreach programs, including school visits, community health fairs, and wellness programs.
Propose metrics that incorporate dental health with nutritional health and physical and spiritual well-being
Document care in electronic health record.

Experience Required:
Minimum of two to three years of general dentistry experience based on level of training and education.
Experience Preferred:
Experience on a military/government site, working as a government subcontractor or prime contractor is preferred.
Education Required:
Current and unrestricted license or authorizing document from any US State or Country of Record to provide healthcare within scope of practice.
Degree in Doctor of Medical in Dentistry or Doctor of Dental Surgery or Equivalent.
Obtain provided American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
Physical Requirements:
Work is normally performed in a typical interior/office work environment.
Work involves sitting and standing for prolonged periods of time.
May require bending, stooping and lifting up to 15 lbs.
Other Special Qualifications:
On call requirements as part of a rotation if required.
Must be able to read, write and speak English to effectively communicate.
This position is unaccompanied.
Ability to obtain a base security clearance.
Must be able to relocate to Doha, Qatar.
A valid passport is required for country of record and must be in your possession prior to relocation. You must maintain a current passport during your stay in Qatar.

Compensation - Min:$275,000- Max: $285,000 Pay range is based on several factors and may vary in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits. Final salary and offer will be determined by the applicant’s background, experience, skills, internal equity, and alignment with geographical market data.
