Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:
- Bachelorβs degree required; SPHR, SHRM-SCP, PHR or SHRM-CP strongly preferred.
- 10+ years of progressively responsible experience including experience in manufacturing or distribution; generalist roles; and roles managing one or more direct reports.
- Bilingual in Spanish is required.
- Occasional travel as needed.
- Thorough knowledge of HR principles and practices as well as relevant employment law and regulations.
- Extensive experience in the administration of HR processes, including benefits, compensation, performance management, and related human resource programs.
- Excellent employee relations skills, ability to manage conflict and foster an environment of positive employee relations at all levels of the organization.
- Excellent active listening, negotiation and presentation skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work both independently and in a team environment.
- Ability to be discreet and maintain high confidentiality of employee and proprietary information that this position will have access to on a regular basis.
- Strong coaching and mentoring skills.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Continuous improvement mindset
- Ability to act as a true business partner to the Sr. VP of HR and Executive Leadership Team
