INNIO is looking for a Bilingual English / Spanish Human Resources Generalist - Staffing & Employee Relations to work within our Human Resources team at our offices in Houston, TX supporting our Jenbacher business. This position has a hybrid work structure to include a combination of onsite & remote from home. 
 
Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the onboarding process for assigned business group to ensure a smooth and effective transition for new hires, including:
    • Ordering, ensuring completion, and passing background investigations
    • Ensuring the accurate and timely completion of all required new hire paperwork and its entry into systems and employee files
    • Work with hiring manager and cross-functional departments to ensure new hires are appropriately set up for first day (IT, payroll, workspace, etc.)
    • Manage the 7, 30 and 90 new hire check ins for assigned business group
    • Act as primary onboarding point of contact
  • Manage the recruitment and selection process for assigned business group, including managing internal and third-party recruiting support, posting jobs, candidate screening, interview coordination, applicant tracking, preparing and drafting offers, , etc.
  • Support payroll processing to including timecard review and communications.
  • Assist in responding to audits, employment verifications, surveys, etc.
  • Support the offboarding process for assigned business group.
  • Manage employee relations for assigned business group.
  • Support immigration/compliance matters.
  • Answer frequently asked questions from applicants and employees relative to standard policies, benefits, hiring processes, etc.
  • Assist with HR special projects.
 Education, Experience & Skills 
  • Bachelor's degree and minimum of five years of HR experience or equivalent combination of experience and education.
  • Preferred fluency in Spanish.
  • Ability to work independently on assignments. 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication ability.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality.
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail and ability to follow up on matters quickly.
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook).
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.
