Our client is urgently looking for two Journeyman Electricians to lead upcoming commercial projects in the Houston, TX area. Looking to hire qualified Journeymen immediately!
Responsibilities:
Instruct and guide all apprentices and helpers with their daily duties through the completion of the assigned project.
Maintain and complete your assigned daily work duties as provided by the project coordinator.
Send in requests for any necessary materials as needed to the project coordinator.
Maintain cleanliness of the entire job-site on a daily basis.
Maintain personal safety and promote a safe work environment.
Maintain all materials, including tools and equipment on site.
Troubleshoot motor and control systems.
Perform routine maintenance on electrical wiring and systems.
Adhere to all quality and safety codes.
Requirements
Must have a current and valid TDLR Texas Journeyman's License. *Required*
Ability to read electrical schematics, blueprints, and manuals.
Ability to use electrical equipment and hand tools.
Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills.
Commercial and Residential Electrical Experience: 3+ years.
OSHA 30 Hour General Industry Certification preferred.
Valid authorization to work in the USA.
Must be able to pass as background check and drug screening.
Ability to travel within Houston, TX and the immediate surrounding areas.
