Your Role at KIK

We are seeking a skilled Machine Operator to join our 2nd Shift.  As a Machine Operator, you will be responsible for the efficient operation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of the machines. Your primary focus will be on ensuring the production of high-quality work and adherence to safety and quality standards. This position has an hourly rate of $22.00, in addition to quarterly incentive bonuses.


 


What You’ll Be Doing



  • Experienced machine operator managing production equipment including fillers, case packers, cappers, case sealers, palletizers and labelers.

  • Maintains vigilance for any disruptions within the filling operation and able to react quickly to overcome such upsets

  • Ability to apply in-depth knowledge of the filler, case packer, capper, case sealer, palletizer and or labeler. 

  • Ability to identify unsafe conditions and react with proper techniques to correct these conditions

  • Ability to communicate clearly with downline associates, supervisors, managers, and maintenance department

  • Manage alerts to maintenance and management for all maintenance related issues

  • Follows and supports all Safety programs


 


What You’ll Bring



  • At least 1 year of experience as a Machine operator in the packaging industry.

  • Production knowledge of raw materials, production processes, quality control and other techniques for effective manufacturing preferred.

  • Must be able to verbally communicate, read and write in English.

  • Basic mathematics skills required.

  • Must be able to take direction and work unsupervised
