Provide guidance to maximize the design and production personnel to ensure manufacturing specifications are adhered to, execution budgets are maintained, and shipments meet our promised commitment dates to our customers.
Job Responsibilities & Requirements
- Own assigned projects on automation products serving internal customers while providing schedule updates and communicating ongoing status updates and change order details.
- Provide guidance on the design and production personnel to ensure manufacturing specifications are adhered to, execution budgets are maintained, and shipments meet our promised commitment dates to our customers.
- Provide guidance on timely project hardware/material purchases working with our procurement team to improve deliveries and better leverage project spend.
- Present weekly project performance reviews with the operations team for your project(s) and identify risks/challenges to insure accurate resource forecasting, successful completion, and customer satisfaction.
- Provide front line technical support for manufacturing personnel assigned to your projects and escalate to engineering personnel.
- Support capital equipment request (CER) proposal efforts as required to ensure sufficient operations budgets are included in all offers.
- Recommend continuous improvement initiatives with other teammates across our operations to drive optimal organizational processes.
Qualifications
- Bachelors Related Field required
- 2+ Years of related process improvement, machine/automation and/or manufacturing experience required
Physical Demands
- This role is primarily performed in an office environment where a computer, telephone and other office equipment are used as needed to perform the duties of the role. As part of the essential functions of this role, the individual will need to access a factory and be exposed to temperature changes. This may will result in being exposed to noise, vibration, chemicals/fumes and navigate around factory machines.
