Specialized Recruiting Group in Midland, TX is searching for a  Manufacturing Manager for a Leading Equipment Manufacturer in Houston, TX.

Job Summary:

 We are looking for a dedicated Manufacturing Manager to oversee our production operations. This key role is critical in supporting our commitment to product excellence and enhancing efficiency in our manufacturing processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead Daily Operations: Manage daily manufacturing operations to meet production goals while prioritizing quality and efficiency.
  • Quality Control Oversight: Implement and enforce quality control measures to ensure product reliability and performance.
  • Production Management: Develop production schedules and workflows that align with customer demands and deadlines.
  • Team Development: Mentor and develop production staff, promoting a culture of continuous learning.
  • Inventory Optimization: Streamline sourcing and inventory management to ensure smooth manufacturing flow.
  • Process Improvement: Continuously refine production protocols to enhance efficiency.
  • Data Analysis: Utilize production data and KPIs to identify improvements and efficiencies.
  • Budget Management: Oversee manufacturing budgets, ensuring cost-effective resource allocation.
  • Safety Compliance: Ensure adherence to environmental regulations and promote sustainable practices.
  • Cross-Department Collaboration: Coordinate with other departments to align production capabilities with sales forecasts.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Ensure regular maintenance and repairs

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering, or a related field; MBA preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in manufacturing management.
  • Lean manufacturing experience Required.
  • Strong leadership skills with proven team management experience.
  • Familiarity with production planning software and
    ERP systems.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and data analysis tools.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of manufacturing processes and quality control methods.
  • Experience with lean manufacturing and continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Relevant safety certifications and knowledge of safety regulations in manufacturing environments.

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Capable of building productive relationships across various departments.

Physical Demands and Work Environment:

  • Reports to the General Manager.
  • Standard business hours with flexibility for additional hours when needed.
  • Regular presence on the manufacturing floor; occasional office work.
  • May require lifting/carrying up to 25 lbs.
  • Ability to stand for long periods and navigate the manufacturing facility.
  • Must adhere to safety protocols and wear appropriate
    PPE.
