Job Title: ADN/VN Clinical Administrator
Summary: The ADN/VN Clinical Administrator’s responsibilities include but are not limited to developing and maintaining clinical affiliations, and maintaining records of the clinical education component.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintains clinical affiliations at facilities for nursing clinical rotations
- Coordinates schedules for clinical rotations, coordinates faculty assignments for clinical staff
- Collects records and reports, retains case logs, and clinical evaluations
- Ensures that students meet clinical affiliate requirements for the rotation in a clinical setting
- Attends mandatory faculty meetings and in-service activities
- Maintains continuing education and professional growth activity and documentation
- Ensure compliance with all state, federal, institutional, and programmatic regulations
- Adheres to academic policies/procedures for compliance
- Assist ADN and VN Program Directors, Director of Operations, Assistant Director of Education/Education Coordination with administrative functions
- Other duties as assigned
Education/Experience:
- Associates degree required, Bachelors preferred in healthcare or business related field
- Three to five years of experience in working with clinical placement, instruction of allied health students and/or nursing clinical students (preferably on the college level), or a combination of education and experience commensurate with the requirements of this position
- Ability to work with adults in an educational setting
