Job Summary:
The Mid-Level Plumbing Engineer/ Designer focuses primarily on the design of building related projects, including hotels, apartment buildings, retail/commercial spaces, and educational facilities using Revit and AutoCAD software.
General Duties:
- Designing plumbing systems for various commercial buildings
- Development of system design calculations and selection of equipment for use in buildings
- Preparation of detailed design documents
- Specification writing/editing
- Code compliance research
- Coordinating work with other disciplines
- Site survey to determine and document existing conditions
- Providing construction administration services
Skills:
- Good communication skills, combined with organizational skills, the ability to plan, balance and prioritize work
- Ability to lead a team and work as a team
- You have knowledge and understanding of codes, standards, and design guidelines
- Excellent work ethic and attitude
- Leadership Ability and Entrepreneurial spirit
- Proficiency in Auto CAD, Revit, and MS Office
- Ability to travel
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field is preferred but not required
- 3+ years of design experience
- PE/EIT preferred but not required
