Job Function

Reporting into the Director, ERP-SAP, the SAP EWM and IM Analyst (Extended Warehouse Management and Inventory Management) will be based out of Houston, Texas or Mayfield, OH/ Hybrid and responsible.to spearhead the projects and support of the Warehouse Management and logistics functions for our organization. The ideal candidate will be responsible for configuring, customizing, and supporting our end users to enhance our business operations and move towards standardization.

Responsibilities 
•    Globally responsible for end-to-end ERP processes for SAP EWM and IM and bring in your expertise of the SAP S4 technical and business processes to support ongoing operations.
•    Provide application support to business users in the EWM/IM/MM modules supporting Procure to Pay, Forecast to Fulfillment, and Stock Management in S/4 Hana environments through system configuration and development
•    Create scalable and efficient SAP EWM module configurations that meet business requirements and processes to support the following business scenarios:-
•    Inbound and Outbound Logistics Management: -
•    Understand how SAP EWM facilitates the efficient management of inbound and outbound goods, including receiving, put away, picking, packing, and shipping processes. 
•    Warehouse Slotting and Layout Optimization: -
•    Familiarity with SAP EWM's capabilities for warehouse slotting optimization to maximize storage space utilization and improve picking efficiency.
•    Cross-Docking and Transshipment Operations: -
•    Understanding of SAP EWM features to support cross-docking and transshipment operations, enabling direct transfer of goods between inbound and outbound vehicles without intermediate storage.
•    Yard Management: -
•    Familiarity with SAP EWM's yard management capabilities for efficient handling of trailers, containers, and other assets in the warehouse yard.
•    Real-Time Visibility and Analytics: -
•    Ability to leverage SAP S/4HANA's embedded analytics and reporting capabilities to provide real-time visibility into warehouse and transportation operations, enabling data-driven decision-making
•    Resolve system related problems via our Incident management with solutions and documentation
•    Change Request Resolution either as a resource, change manager, or both. This includes modifications of existing or design of new processes.
•    Modelling and documenting business processes. 
•    Providing conceptual and detailed designs to meet business needs and working together with the development team on SAP Configurations & custom developments. 
•    Coordinating with business, As-Is/To-Be, Configuration, unit testing, user acceptance tests, cutover, go-live and post go-live activities.
•    Assesses/analyses S4 issues and determines support/problem resolution where applicable.
•    Monitors and provides follow up instruction on outstanding issues in a timely fashion.
•    Ensure major incident communication to management and internal customers.

Required Experience

•    Bachelor’s degree in information systems, Computer Science, Business Administration, or related field.
•    8+ years of SAP consulting and SAP EWM and MM module implementation experience
•    3 full life-cycle SAP EWM and MM implementations with strong expertise in all components of EWM / IM / MM module
•    Hands on experiences on configurations of all components for SAP EWM and IM
•    Good understanding of SAP business processes (Inbound, Outbound, Internal Warehousing Processes) and SAP functionalities (architecture). 
•    Understand the interdependencies of the SAP PP, MM, SD modules, including master data and transactional objects (e.g. orders, material documents etc.,). 
•    Strong exposure with Radio Frequency (Mobile data entry) functionalities. - Good exposure in Handling Unit / Batch Management processes
•    Familiarity with industry-specific best practices, standards, and regulatory requirements related to sales, distribution, and returns management.
•    Very good understanding of end-to-end Logistics business processes
•    Very good understanding of Logistics application environments including the IT Infrastructure set-up as well as the up- and downstream system integration
•    Experience in cross-department/cross-system root cause analysis and defining of workaround solutions
•    Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
•    Should have fluent spoken and written English communication skills.
•    Detail-oriented with a strong focus on data accuracy and quality.
•    Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
•    Continuous learning mindset with a commitment to staying updated on SAP best practices and industry trends.
