    Job Description

    The Scaffold Designer will work with the regional Technical Manager to provide detailed 2d and 3d layout designs of temporary works, such as: access scaffolds & shoring.

    Qualifications

     

    • 10+ years’ experience within construction/ engineering industry. Candidates with the relevant temporary works (scaffolding) experience will be considered as being at an advantage.
    • Associate degree in Engineering Technology, Drafting & Design or equivalent combination of experience and education.
    • Comprehensive working knowledge of AutoCAD 2d & 3d environments. Some knowledge of Navisworks, Revit & Tekla will be considered as an advantage.
    • Experience with laser scanning and points clouds would be advantageous.
    • Ability to read and interpret structural/civil/ architectural drawings and models.
    • Basic knowledge of engineering principles.
    • Good organizational and time management skills, with the ability to work with the technical team to meet tight deadlines.
    • Excellent communication/ interpersonal skills.
    • Excellent Microsoft Office skills
