Job Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Senior Civil Project Engineer to join our innovative team. In this role, you will design, plan, and oversee the infrastructure and site development for our groundbreaking projects, ensuring functionality, safety, and sustainability. The ideal candidate will work closely with multiple world-class firms in coordinating efforts to finalize the design of our buildings, integrating civil engineering solutions seamlessly into the broader project vision. Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyze civil engineering systems, including site grading, drainage, utilities, roadways, and earthworks.
  • Thorough understanding of calculations, simulations, and modeling to ensure structural stability, stormwater management, and compliance with environmental standards.
  • Collaborate with architects, structural engineers, MEP teams, and project managers to integrate civil designs into overall project plans
  • Work with multiple world-class firms in coordinating efforts to finalize the design of our buildings, ensuring cohesive infrastructure and site solutions.
  • Should have complete understanding of detailed engineering plans, specifications, and reports using industry-standard software (e.g., AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Bentley, or similar).
  • Conduct site assessments and oversee construction activities to ensure adherence to design specifications and timelines.
  • Ensure all designs comply with local, national, and international regulations, codes, and standards (e.g., ADA, EPA, local zoning laws).
  • Address site-specific challenges, such as geotechnical conditions or environmental constraints, through creative and practical solutions.
  • Contribute to project scheduling, budgeting, and resource planning alongside project leadership.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license or equivalent certification is highly desirable.
  • 10+ years of experience in civil project engineering, with a focus on site development, infrastructure, or building projects.
  • Proficiency in civil project engineering design and analysis software (e.g., AutoCAD, Civil 3D, MicroStation, HEC-RAS, or similar).
  • Strong knowledge of site planning, stormwater management, and utility design principles.
  • Proven ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams, including experience coordinating with external firms or stakeholders.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to liaise with world-class firms and internal teams seamlessly.
  • Detail-oriented with a commitment to delivering high-quality, accurate work under tight deadlines.
  • Familiarity with sustainable design practices, green infrastructure, and emerging civil engineering trends is a plus.

Additional Details:

  • This is an on-site role. 
  • We do not offer remote or hybrid working opportunities.
  • This position is in Downtown Houston, Texas 77002.
  • The salary range is between $91,000 - $130,000 per year.
  • Full-Time Benefits: After completion of a probationary period, you will be eligible for full-time company benefits.
  • The ideal candidate must be available to start with two weeks of acceptance date.
