POSITION SUMMARY:
We are looking for a talented and experienced Senior UI/UX Designer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in creating user-centered designs and will lead the design process from concept to delivery. You will be responsible for owning and leading our brand’s visual identity while ensuring a seamless and enjoyable user experience. As a Senior UI/UX Designer, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams, mentor junior designers, and advocate for best practices in design.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES, DUTIES, AND FUNCTIONS:

Lead the design process: Own the end-to-end design process, including user research, wireframing, prototyping, and high-fidelity design.

User Research & Analysis: Conduct user research, analyze user behavior, and gather insights to inform design decisions.

Create Design Systems: Develop and maintain design systems, style guides, and reusable UI components to ensure design consistency across products.

Collaborate Cross-Functionally: Work closely with product managers, developers, and other stakeholders to deliver intuitive and delightful user experiences.

Mentorship: Provide guidance and mentorship to junior designers, reviewing their work and helping them grow in their roles.

Usability Testing: Plan and conduct usability tests, iterate on designs based on user feedback, and continuously improve user interfaces.

Prototyping: Build interactive prototypes that illustrate design concepts, transitions, and interactions.

Stay Current with Design Trends: Keep up with the latest UI/UX trends, tools, and technologies, applying them to improve design processes and outcomes.

Advocate for the User: Be the voice of the user, ensuring that all designs serve user needs while meeting business objectives.
REQUIREMENTS:

Experience: 5+ years of experience in UI/UX design, with a strong portfolio showcasing user-centered design solutions.

Proficiency in Design Tools: Expertise in industry-standard design tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, or similar.

Knowledge of Front-End Technologies: Understanding of basic front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) to effectively communicate with developers.

Strong Visual Design Skills: Excellent grasp of typography, color theory, and layout principles.

Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to analyze complex problems and design elegant, simple solutions.

Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate design decisions.

Attention to Detail: Keen attention to detail, ensuring high-quality designs that align with brand standards and user needs.

Project Management: Ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Familiarity with responsive and adaptive design principles.
- Previous experience with OOUX or similar frameworks.
- Experience with motion design or animation.
- Previous experience in a leadership role.
