Description

Mission:

The Service Account Manager I role maintains the delivery of service agreements, ensures financial performance and contractual obligations of the work are met or exceeded, while maintaining the highest level of customer satisfaction and service. Works directly with customers to develop a trusted advisor relationship and recommends services and solutions based on the best needs of the client.


Key responsibilities include:

  • Proactively plans, forecasts and dispatches service calls, contracted service, and preventative maintenance
  • Assists in coordinating and maintaining technician daily schedules
  • Manages a portfolio of assigned service clients not to exceed $250,000 in aggregate volume
  • Builds and maintains strong customer relationships, yielding knowledge and understanding of specific client needs, expectations, infrastructure, and business objectives.
  • Maintains client database
  • Communicates in a clear and concise method to department managers, employees, and customers.
  • Reviews and completes service work orders, prepares billings and performs collections
  • Troubleshoots and resolves schedule, technician or customer conflicts related to the work
  • Provides quotes and service proposals to clients for time and material work, parts, repairs, upgrades, replacements etc.
  • Assists sales team with contract renewals, contract additions and technical proposals.
  • Participates in the development of a master schedule to deliver service for all customers in the service area.
  • Works cohesively with service managers, technicians, and business development managers to support and promote multiple business solutions for both short and long-term growth opportunities
  • Performs other duties as assigned

Requirements

Service Account Manager 1 Qualifications

  • High School Diploma Required
  • Must possess valid TX driver license
  • Five (5) years of relative work experience, preferably in customer service, sales or similar field
  • Experience in fire alarm & life safety, building automation, construction or similar field
