Hunton Andrews Kurth LLP, an international law firm, is actively recruiting a Temporary Hospitality Assistant in our Houston office.  This position performs various office services duties primarily related to office hospitality services.  Ensures a high-quality experience for all visitors and guests coming to our office.


RESPONSIBILITIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES:



  1. Maintains orderliness of the common areas, kitchen, break rooms, conference rooms and other public areas of the office.

  2. Provides food and beverage setup and breakdown for meetings and conferences.

  3. Maintains good inventory of supplies in catering pantries, ensuring that the pantries are always fully stocked and that supplies are stored in an organized manner.

  4. Coordinates with other office departments to ensure that conference rooms fully accommodate the needs of those attending meetings.

  5. Performs special projects as assigned.


MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:


Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.  College degree preferred.


Experience:  Experience in a professional services office or other legal support experience preferred.  Knowledge of Microsoft Office required.


Other Qualifications:  Exceptional written and verbal communication and listening skills. Accurate typing, word processing skills and ability to pay strict attention to detail. Spelling, punctuation and use of grammar must be of high quality. Must have strong organizational skills. Ability to work well under pressure, patience, diplomacy, high stress tolerance, ability to prioritize workload and adapt to changing conditions. Visual acuity needed for transcription, extensive reading and input (typing) of information into computer. Ability to receive and convey detailed information through both written and oral communication. Essential competency processes include language ability, reasoning and memory. Ability to maintain flexibility regarding work assignments to work overtime on short notice required. To perform this job successfully, the incumbent must possess the abilities or aptitudes to proficiently perform each of the responsibilities and accountabilities described above, with or without reasonable accommodation.
