DescriptionGlobal Real Estate Vendor Risk Management (VRM) team is responsible for managing and overseeing the compliance of third-party suppliers with the Third Party Oversight (TPO) program.Β
As a Vendor Risk Management Associate within the Global Real Estate team, you will coordinate vendor onboarding, ensure due diligence, monitor compliance, and develop strategies for portfolio management.Β
Job Responsibilities:
- Manage, monitor, and track a portfolio of third-party suppliers to ensure compliance with the Third Party Oversight program.
- Disposition Standard Process vs. Alternate Process engagements, including specialized service categories.
- Coordinate and monitor all new engagements through the vendor onboarding lifecycle.
- Ensure all due diligence is completed and documented according to firm-wide policies and procedures.
- Assist Delivery Managers in completing all documents supporting existing third parties.
- Issue metrics reports to monitor compliance with the TPO program and present key risk metrics to Lines of Business (LOBs).
- Assist in managing delivery dates for remediation plans, non-compliance acceptances, Financial Viability Assessments, and Corporate TPO deliverables.
- Update appropriate systems, develop and issue reports, follow up with Delivery Managers, and maintain required documentation; as well as perform data quality audits of information entered into the GRE vendor system.
- Assist in training Delivery and Senior Managers (Executive Sponsors) and Risk Analysts on TPO procedures and systems.
- Develop portfolio management strategies by assessing inventory for efficiency and reduction opportunities across LOBs.
- Monitor engagements/services associated with third-party suppliers through various reports, tools, and system research, confirming all required onboarding forms are received and compliant with both JPMC and Vendor Risk Oversight policies.
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills:
- Bachelorβs degree in Business, Finance, Risk Management, or a related field.Β
- 5+ years experience in vendor risk management, compliance, or a related field.
- Strong understanding of third-party risk management frameworks and regulatory requirements.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with senior management and cross-functional teams.
- Proficiency in using risk management tools and systems.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work under tight deadlines.
