Job Title: Administrator – Modifications/Warranty

Department: Warranty

Reports to: Senior Warranty Analyst

Classification: Full-time, In-office, Non-exempt



SUMMARY:

The Warranty/Modification Administrator – Is responsible for assisting in the day-to-day operations of our Warranty & Modifications, while assisting the Senior Warranty Analyst and Management with administrative tasks, project management, and reporting, as well as receives, organizes, ships, and tracks modification services and parts between points such as factories and technicians.


 


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Receive, store, and organize modification parts and instructions from our factories.

• Prepare and sometimes ship modification parts to technicians and customers.

• Receive and process returns from customers and technicians, both warranty parts and return to stock.

• Organize and track warranty parts for possible return to factory.

• Maintain a list of current stock of modification parts and warranty parts.

• Package and create shipping documents for old warranty part returns to our factories.

• Receive, upload, and return service manuals from sales admin.

• Assist Department with other projects when asked.

• Create service orders for Modification technicians

• Ensure all Modification technicians costs and reports area added to Modification jobs service orders

• Manage all aspects of Modification technicians time and attendance and submit timely to HR/Payroll

• Attend weekly Modification/Warranty Department meetings

• Work closely with Tadano Service department on Warranty claim creation, cost allocation and recovery, and any other Warranty administration assistance needed.

QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration preferred. Education and experience in lieu of education will be considered. 1 to 3 years of administrative experience preferred. Proficiency with Microsoft Office products including Word, PowerPoint and Excel is required. Experience in SAP is a plus. Reliable transportation is a must. Must have excellent punctuality and attendance. Bilingual in English and Spanish a plus.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.

• Must be able to lift 50 pounds at times.

• Must be able to access and navigate each department at the organization’s facilities.

• Physical sight; Close, Distant, Color, Peripheral, Depth visions with ability to adjust focus are required.

• The ability to observe details at close range (within a few feet of the observer).

• The ability to communicate information and ideas so others will understand. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations.
