About this Role






Accountant, Management Reporting ensures the delivery of accurate and timely financial reporting on a monthly basis. This role directly collaborates with Operating Unit Controllers/CFO’s, the Management Reporting Senior Accountant, Manager, Senior Manager and Director as well as various Corporate team members to ensure accounting processes are functioning efficiently and accurately, and to investigate questions from executives concerning financial results.









What You'll Do






  • Using Oracle (IPM) system reports and other financial information, performs review of various financial documents, reports, statements, and disclosures:
    • Monthly review of the financial statements for operating units;
    • Work-in-Process (WIP)/job review and analysis;
    • Actual vs. Forecast review of OpU’s reports;
    • Actual vs. Forecast review of different company segments reports;
    • Management Representation/Questionnaire Review including change orders;
    • Monthly Reporting Schedules.
  • Prepares journal entries and corresponding support as needed during monthly close process.
  • Provides explanation of fluctuations.
  • Identifies risks, potential negative impact, communicates findings to company Management, operating unit personnel or controllers, operations personnel and assists with preparation of reports and resolutions.
  • Works closely with the operating units, other Accounting groups and company departments to help to resolve any accounting issues that may arise.
  • Serves as a main point of contact for the operating units’ Controllers.
  • Prepares quarterly and ad-hoc reports for executive management.
  • Provides support and assistance to the SEC financial reporting group in preparations of Company’s 10-Q, 10-K, earnings releases, Board of Director presentations, etc.
  • Provides support and assistance to the external auditors in connection with the audit of the company.
  • Assists with the preparation and review of statutory financial statements for certain international operating units as needed.
  • Assists with the preparation and review of standalone financial statements for certain operating units as needed for various licensing requirements.
  • Continuously searches for ways to improve the reporting process at the corporate and operating unit levels.
  • Adheres to internal standards, policies and procedures.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.








What You'll Bring






  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance and 0-2 years of experience

 

Preferred Education and Experience

  • Bachelor or Master’s degree in Accounting or Finance
  • 0-2 years of experience in public accounting
