Summary: Supporting Company Accounting/Treasury department by completing the accounts payable/receivable, cash applications and wide range of accounting assignments. This position will require managing multiple tasks in a very fast pace environment, ensuring the accuracy, efficiency, and timeliness of the entire process as it relates to the GL coding, obtaining proper approvals and reconciliations.

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:


· Accounts Payable/Receivable full cycle (Distribute invoices for approval, post for payment)

· Complete assigned tasks and reconciliations in Dynamics

· Participate in AP automation continuous improvement process

· Ensure accuracy of GL coding on for invoices

· Review and reconcile AR/AP aging

· Post vendor bills in Dynamics by performing 3-way match or obtaining proper approvals

· Review/approve all expense reports for credit card holders in Concur and report on any T&E Violators monthly

· Manage employee expense reimbursement process

· Provides input and escalates issues when appropriate to support opportunities to improve productivity, efficiency, and/or procedures

· Responsible for information requests for sales tax and year-end financial audits

· Assist with Special projects, reporting and duties as needed

· Possess flexibility and adaptability to work additional hours during month end close

Education/Experience:

 

· Bachelor’s degree preferred

· 2+ years’ experience in AP

· Strong Excel (vlookups, pivot tables) and Outlook Skills are required

· Dynamics experience is preferred

· Experience with Expensify is preferred

Work Environment

 

This job operates in a clerical, office setting. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.

 

Physical Demands

 

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. This is largely a sedentary role. This would require the ability to lift files, open filing cabinets and bend or stand on a stool as necessary.

 

Position Type and Expected Hours of Work

 

This is a temporary position based on a five-day work week, Monday through Friday, consisted of eight hours worked per days with a total of 40 hours worked per week. Overtime may be required on an as needed basis.
