Job Summary

The AP/AR Accountant is responsible for the financial processing of transactions for the ROC Americas & Canada. Duties include processing vendor invoices into the accounting system, obtaining approval for vendor payments, supporting the payments of invoices and accurate record keeping; preparing customers invoices based on accounting procedures. 

Job Duties/Responsibilities 

  • Compare vendor/subcontractor invoices to purchase orders or contracts to verify quantities, prices, payment terms, freight charges, extensions, etc.
  • Payment processing: checks with positive pay, ACH, wire and FX wire.
  • Reconcile Vendor Statement
  • Cash receipt posting
  • Month-end accruals for missing invoices
  • Assist with Financials and Tax audits

Education

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance preferable.

Work Experience

  • 1-5 Years relevant experience in accounting.

Required SKILLS/ABILITIES: 

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently.

  • Assist in the continual improvement of an effective Integrated Management System complying with the requirements of ISO 14001:2015
  • Assist in achieving Site, Departmental, Regional and Global Environmental Management Program goals and objectives
