Summary

This is a great opportunity for a PE or EIT who is interested in working with a dynamic team on a wide range of projects for our Water-Wastewater Team in Houston. We specialize in providing planning, design, and construction phase engineering services on a wide range of projects, including improvements to wastewater treatment plants, wastewater collection systems, drinking water plants, and water distribution systems. You will be working side-by-side with a team of knowledgeable engineers and professionals in an environment that fosters collaboration and career development. What will you be doing?

  • Work as part of a team as well as independently in learning, evaluating, and applying engineering principles, standards, and criteria
  • Perform specific project tasks within a broader assignment and actively assists the Project Manager
  • Conduct field visits and attend client meetings as necessary for various projects
  • Assist in producing and developing deliverables that will be submitted to clients and regulatory authorities
  • Communicate effectively and coordinate with project team members including but not limited to CAD designers and other engineers 
  • Typically support multiple projects simultaneously with complex technical challenges 
  • Delegate, mentor, and review the work of junior engineers and CAD technicians
  • Provide technical guidance and coordination with sub-discipline staff (civil/structural/mechanical/electrical/I&C) for wastewater and water facilities projects

What are we looking for?

  • A candidate with a Bachelor or Master’s degree from an accredited four-year or graduate engineering university in relevant discipline.   
  • A candidate with three plus years of relevant engineering experience. 
  • Possess strong verbal and technical writing skills and be able to read technical literature and engineering plans. 
  • Demonstrates strong analytical and problem-solving skills. 
  • A candidate with proficient knowledge of office software (Word, Excel, etc.) and Bluebeam.
  • A candidate with knowledge and familiarity in AutoCAD, REVIT, and Civil3D is preferred.
  • Strong customer service attitude and a passion to meet Client’s needs.
