Looking for a hardworking, knowledgeable commercial plumber. Must be proficient in commercial plumbing
for tenant build-out, new construction/tenant improvement/service, and other ground up projects including restaurants, retail, corporate offices, medical facilities, and much more. Lead a team and perform all duties for all stages of the jobs from the ground up.
Responsibilities:
- Commercial plumbing installation from Building stack out to multi-story building plumbing and large mechanical rooms.
- Read and interpret plans and building specifications.
- Use of copper, cast Iron, PVC, CPVC, PEX, and other piping.
- Install grease traps, oil interceptors, lint interceptors, and all utility hookups.
- Install water, gas, sewer, and grease lines.
- Set all fixtures and plumbing per plans.
- Involve cutting, threading, fitting pipes, valves, and caulking.
- Will occasionally be on call.
Qualifications:
- 4+ years of commercial plumbing experience such as corporate offices, dining establishments, educational institutions, and federal contracts.
- Must be a Texas licensed Journeyman plumber.
- Ability to read plans and shop drawings.
- Must know ADA plumbing dimensions.
- Possesses hand tools and trade-specific tools.
- Ability to direct the work of a helper or apprentice.
- Able to work from ladders and lifts from various heights.
- Ability to operate machinery such as mini excavator, tamp, skid steer, scissor lift, and other equipment as needed.
- Ability to pass background screening, MVR, and drug screening.
