As a Content Writer at Fugro, you will create material that builds engagement, sparks interest from prospects, and strengthens our brand voice. By collaborating closely with subject matter experts, this position blends technical knowledge with creative storytelling to break down complex ideas into clear, engaging messages for our various communication channels.

The ideal individual will have technical writing and editing experience to support internal and external marketing and communication initiatives. This role will develop and deliver impactful multi-channel marketing materials that contribute to business growth and strengthen Fugro's position as an industry leader.

Fugro will not provide relocation for this job opportunity.

Job Responsibilities:

• Contribute to content strategy development that aligns with business objectives and our clients’ journey.
• Create technical content, including white papers, case studies, and long-form articles.
• Maintain a consistent brand voice across all platforms.
• Develop and optimize website content, landing pages, and service/solution descriptions.
• Write copy for email campaigns targeting specific personas.
• Create content for LinkedIn and other social media platforms.
• Lead sessions with team members to outline content for documents.
• Manage content review and approval processes.
• Transform complex technical data into clear, engaging content, research industry trends and competitor content, and maintain technical accuracy while ensuring content is accessible to target audiences.
• Monitor content performance metrics, ensure content meets SEO best practices and conduct content audits and updates as required.
• Ensure that created content adheres to Fugro’s brand guidelines, maintain high standards of grammar and style, and perform thorough proofreading and editing.

Job Requirements:

• Authorized to work in the United States, without restrictions
• A bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in English, Journalism, Marketing, Communications, or a related field is required.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in content writing, preferably in B2B technical or industrial sectors, experience writing for a geo-solutions or technology company is a plus.
• Experience with Adobe Creative Cloud applications.
• Experience with marketing automation platforms, particularly Marketo.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics CRM or similar CRM systems.
• Experience with creating social media posts in Canva.
• Experience with content management systems (CMS).
• Experience with digital asset management systems.
• Familiarity with collaboration tools and project management software.
• Well-versed in operating within a networked Windows environment and using advanced features of Microsoft Office programs.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work on a team and independently.
• Valid driver’s license with an acceptable motor vehicle record is required
• Travel requirements up to 10% for job functions.
