Delivery Driver (26ft Box Truck)

• Drive a 26ft box truck to and from delivery route destinations safely while maintaining a timely and efficient schedule
• Typical Monday to Friday schedule (40-55 hours per week) and home every night with the exception of occasional overnight trips for long-distance destinations (approximately 1 time per week).
• Work weekends 1-2 times per month
• Drives to and delivers customer orders according to predetermined route delivery schedule
• Performs count check of items and check customer invoices of products that have been loaded
• Checks and completes in an accurate and in legible fashion all required paperwork associated with freight
• Unload, or assist with unloading, products from truck at destinations
• Maintain accurate records by counting products and verifying delivery invoices with customers, and obtain customer signatures on receipt of merchandise
• Follows all DOT regulations and company safe driving guidelines and policies
• Interact with customers and clients in a professional and friendly manner
• Effectively communicate with dispatch and other company representatives
• Inform dispatcher of any changes to customer orders or customer complaints
• Perform pre/post vehicle inspections and report mechanical problems immediately
• Know how to operate an ELD device
• Maintain the cleanliness and service maintenance of the vehicle
• Must have knowledge of and comply with all D.O.T. and company safety regulations.

• High school diploma/GED or state approved equivalent 
• Minimum 5 years experience of driving 26 ft box trucks is required
• Clean Motor Vehicle Report (MVR) for past 5 years
• 2+ years of experience operating a pallet jack required
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
• Strong verbal and written communications skills
• Authorized to work for any employer in the US
• Verifiable work history
• Offer contingent upon passing a background check and drug screen
