This role is an IT position for a Credit Union. Symitar experience preferred.
Salary: $61,867 to $77,334 annually.
Role
Responsible for managing and troubleshooting various applications and business systems, ensuring smooth and efficient IT operations for both internal staff and external members. This position serves as the point of contact for core and digital systems, providing critical support and ensuring optimal system performance. In addition, the role offers cross-functional support to the infrastructure team, contributing to the seamless operation of IT services. Assists with project implementations and helps support reporting systems, also serve as a contact for reporting inquires.
Major Duties and Responsibilities
40%
Respond to internal inquiries and help desk tickets. Develop solutions for application failures and common technical problems in all of these areas to deliver a sound and stable computer infrastructure, providing exceptional support while demonstrating a sense of priorities.

Provides support for report creation and troubleshooting, ensuring seamless operations and continuity. Assists in generating both routine and custom reports and resolves any issues that arise.

Serves as contact for core and digital vendors, imaging systems, and account creation. Handles follow-up, ticket creation, and research for application problems. Escalates issues that are complex or need more attention to IT AVP.

Install, test, and debug new enhancements received from software vendors in accordance with standard operating procedures and practices to ensure proper utilization before implementation of the production system.

Develop user and technical documentation.

Assist with various Projects within the IT Department and engaging other departments.

EXPERIENCE
Experience utilizing Symitar, Episys would be required.
EDUCATION/CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSES
A two-year college degree or completion of a specialized course of study at a business or trade school equivalent to approximately 64 credit hours.
INTERPERSONAL SKILLS
A significant level of trust, credibility and diplomacy is required. In-depth dialogue, conversations and explanations with customers, direct and indirect reports and outside vendors can be of a sensitive and/or highly confidential nature. Communications may involve motivating, influencing, educating and/or advising others on matters of significance. Typically includes subject matter experts as well as first level to middle managers.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Perform primarily sedentary work with limited physical exertion and occasional lifting of up to 5 lbs. Must be capable of climbing/descending stairs in emergency situation. Must be able to operate routine office equipment including telephone, copier, facsimile, and calculator. Must be able to routinely perform work on computer for an average of 6-8 hours per day. Must be able to work extended hours whenever required or requested by management. Must by capable of regular, reliable and timely attendance.
WORKING CONDITIONS
Must be able to routinely perform work indoors in climate-controlled shared work area with moderate noise.
