ETC Machine Operator

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES: 

• Become familiar with and adhere to all NOV HSE policies and procedures
• Machine parts per prints and NOV specs
• Follow instructions from engineers and techs on part reworks
• Daily inspections of machines and equipment before use
• Maintain oil and fluid levels in machines
• Keep a clean and orderly work area
• Clean up shavings and maintain coolant levels

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• 5 + Years previous machine operation experience or Trade School Certification.

JOB REQUIREMENTS: 

• Adheres to all HSE requirements
• Working hours to be identified by manager (Willing to work 2^nd shift)
• Effective written and oral communication 
• Able to work well with minimal supervision

TECHNICAL COMPETENCIES:

• Proficient machining on CNC lathes and mills
• Able to read prints and machine accurate parts
• Able to use measuring tools (i.e. micrometers, calipers, etc.)
• Basic computer skills – Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel.   Will provide training for specific software utilized by NOV
