Financial Analyst – FP&A

Job Summary: 

We are a privately-owned, second-generation beverage wholesaler located in East Houston and we are seeking an FP&A Analyst to add to our growing team! Our ideal candidate will have a solid accounting background and advanced quantitative skills. This company is on the smaller side of midsize with $250MM+ in annual sales, so a small company mindset is required for the many different hats you will be expected to wear!

Key Responsibilities: 

• Lead budgeting, and forecasting activities for the company
• Partner with various operations and accounting team members to prepare variance analysis and provide clear, concise performance commentary. 
• Track KPIs to effectively manage the business and review current and past trends  
• Create dashboards, reports, presentations, and other data visualizations to illustrate and tell our story of financial performance 
• Assist with preparation of board of director’s standard and ad hoc reports

Education, Knowledge, Skills, Licenses, & Certifications:

•  A Bachelor's degree is required 

Requirements 

• 2+ years of finance/accounting experience
• Software project or system implementation experience preferred.
• A problem-solving mindset 
• Intermediate to Advanced Excel
