POSITION SUMMARY

The Human Resources Manager provides direction and coordination for the HR function of the organization, managing day to day operations within the function. This position works in collaboration with the CEO and the Executive Leadership Team to support the human assets of the organization and to ensure compliance, including the required credentialing for providers, and as an organization.

 

Essential Functions

  • Recruitment of candidates for a variety of positions, including working with staffing agencies for licensed personnel.
  • Develops and/or modifies the new employee orientation process.  Oversees details to include benefits enrollments, employee health requirements, paperwork, etc.
  • Serves as expert and advise the Executive Leadership Team for all HR related questions.
  • Advises and directs supervisors and managers with HR related issues.
  • Provides training for HR related issues.
  • Develops/modifies/manages performance appraisal process to include 90-day reviews and annual reviews.
  • Creates, maintains, and monitors all HR policies and procedures, to include submission to Board of Directors for approval and updating the employee handbook.
  • Oversee credentialing activities for all providers as required, both initial credentialing, as well as ongoing re-credentialing.  Develops and manages credentialing agreements with contracted entities.
  • Monitors status of all credentialed providers and maintains all credentialing documents and files.
  • Completes and maintains National Health Service Corps information.
  • Maintains current job descriptions.
  • Develops and maintains salary structure, monitors current salaries compared to market value, and makes recommendations as needed regarding salary actions.
  • Develops and maintains Organizational Charts.
  • Ensures all records kept satisfy audit requirements.

Non-essential Functions

  • Other projects as requested (ex: National Health Service Corps, Standard Occupational Classification coding, Uniform Data System report).
  • Provides communication announcements regarding personnel changes, employee information, etc.
  • Other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree minimum.
  • 3+ years HR management experience, preferably in a healthcare setting.
  • Able to work with others as a team.
  • Pro-active person.
  • Have great attention to detail.
  • Microsoft Office – Excel, Word, Outlook.
