What will you do as a Human Resources Manager?
This position is a business partner supporting the Operating Company and a dedicated client group. Duties will include all aspects of the HR discipline to include: HR strategy, performance management, training & development, recruitment, compensation, organizational development, and employee relations.

What do we expect from you as a Human Resources Manager?
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Human Resources or related field required
Advanced degree preferred
PHR or SPHR preferred
10+ years direct Human Resources experience
Labor relations experience strongly preferred
Critical ability to maintain confidentiality
Excellent communications skills, both oral and written

Experience leading and coaching teams
Demonstrated ability analyzing data to develop and implement comprehensive action plans that achieve breakthrough results

What does your day look like?
Your core responsibilities are:
Abides by all safety procedures and practices applicable to location and position; participates in appropriate safety training; demonstrates commitment to and support of SH&E principles and values; champions safety as necessary
Leads HR related projects as needed
Proactively handles employee relations matters and concerns; conducts employee investigations
Leads processes to recruit, develop, promote and retain employees. Directs employment activities assuring the timely placement of qualified candidates in salaried, hourly, and temporary positions.
Assists the Managing Director and Finance Manager in the development and execution of policies and the annual performance and budget plan
Ensures compliance with employment-related laws (EEOC, OSHA, Wage and Hour, etc.)
Develops and administers wage and salary policies, processes and surveys to ensure competitive rates of pay
Coaches and counsel managers; serves as consultant to management in employee matters; interprets and communicates policies; discusses options in employee relations matters
Advises management on organizational policy matters; recommends changes as necessary
Develops and fosters relationships with client groups and appropriate external vendors
Assists in design of on-boarding process for new employees; assists with benefit enrollment
Maintains records; compiles statistical reports on personnel related data
Facilitates employee satisfaction surveys and action teams; holds focus group meetings
Oversees job description process; ensures job descriptions are updated as necessary; verifies regulatory compliance
Participates in compensation surveys
Conducts exit interviews; documents findings; reports findings to appropriate parties
Assists with succession planning; identification and development of the talent pool, keeps and updates records
Develops and delivers training for supervisors, managers, and employees; designs training programs including, but not limited to, leadership, diversity, regulatory and legal requirements, employee orientation, etc.
Performs other duties assigned by management that fall within the generally expected scope of this position

Work Environment
This employee generally works in an office environment, away from extremes of cold or heat. Limited to no exposure to noise and vibrations other than normal daily office sounds. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. The employee should not have regular exposure to fumes, odors, toxic conditions, dust or poor ventilation.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to walk, sit, speak and hear.
