DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES |
- Manage the processing of Customs and Participating Government Agency (PGA) entries to facilitate the clearance of goods into the United States.
- Receive and assess import documentation to ensure accuracy, compliance with government regulations, and to identify and address any potential issues.
- Guarantee prompt submissions of Importer Security Filings (ISF) and Customs entries.
- Ensure adherence to U.S. government regulations enforced by agencies such as the FDA, EPA, and USFWS etc.
- Foster strong relationships and collaborate effectively with both internal and external customers.
- Deliver exceptional customer service and maintain clear communication with clients.
- Exhibit strong decision-making capabilities and prioritize daily tasks effectively to meet responsibilities.
- Maintain a high standard of operational excellence, focusing on timely performance, accuracy, and superior customer service.
- Provide clear, professional, and reliable communication, both verbally and in writing, to internal and external stakeholders.
- Perform other tasks as assigned by management.

REQUIREMENTS |
- Minimum 3-5 years of Customs brokerage/entry writing experience.
- Familiarity with the regulations and requirements of various government agencies, including the FDA, USDA, DOT, and FCC. etc.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Energetic, proactive, and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage and complete multiple tasks within deadlines.
- Capable of multitasking and making quick decisions in a dynamic and fast-paced work environment.
- Proficient in standard Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Experience with CargoWise is preferred.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS |
- Ability to perform the essential job functions consistently, safely, and successfully in accordance with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state, and local standards, including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards.
- Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance in accordance with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state, and local standards.
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 20 lbs.
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to talk, listen and speak clearly on telephone.
