At Houston Methodist, the Human Resources (HR) Instructional Designer position is responsible for the design and development of high quality training curriculum and materials to support learning and development initiatives and programs of Houston Methodist. This position works with subject matter experts and leaders to conduct needs assessments, establish training objectives, and design programs in a variety of formats (e.g., e-Learning, instructor led, hybrid) using best practices to meet those objectives. Additional responsibilities include testing and troubleshooting eLearning modules, implementation and tracking of training programs, and delivering training programs for employees at all levels. This position will demonstrate and incorporate broad knowledge of current and emerging industry trends and be responsible for ongoing evaluation and maintenance of training programs.
