Job Purpose:

 The Junior System Administrator will monitor, maintain, and support Bishop Lifting Products IT Infrastructure. 

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

  • First level of triage and research of support issues.
  • Work with Engineers on identifying recurring issues from support or other sources
  • Administer established systems and services
  • Perform basic troubleshooting
  • Perform routine updates, patches, configuration changes
  • Install, configure, deploy, and update applications
  • Manage system patching and updates
  • Manage application delivery
  • Administer applications including cloud applications
  • Ensure all work is executed in a secure manner
  • Knowledge of VMWare
  • Configure basic switches, routers and other hardware.
  • Perform other functions as required.

Job Requirements:

  • 1-3 years of experience in similar role
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug test and physical
  • Must be able to pass a background check
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship

EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS

Bachelor's degree in Technology related field or relevant certifications.
