We have a Contractor opening for a Financial Analyst to support Client Process Solutions in Houston, TX.
The HPS Regional Operations Finance Analyst role will provide support for the North American region of Client Process Solutions and be based in the Houston, TX office. The role will partner with and support all Line of Business (LOB) finance and local operations for the North America geography to enable consistent and timely local financial reporting, analysis, and operational support. This role reports to the North American HPS Regional Operations Finance Leader.
Provide a critical role in local financial close processes not assumed by entity controllership and/or COTA (manual journals, deferrals, accruals, orders).
Provide timely first level analysis of key local / regional financial metrics to Engineered Solutions and Products finance and local operations.
Perform Non-ISC inventory and standard costing processing (including GNRI, suspense, inventory revaluation).
Perform controlling type activities (including waivers, BS reviews, audit support, and physical inventory audit).
Perform business support activities such as cost center / profit center creation and maintenance.
Perform plan and estimate system loading for Line of Business Finance
Complete special and ad-hoc projects as requested to support business needs.
Complete Orders reconciliation between SAP, Hyperion Financial Management system, and the Sales incentive Database.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance or related field
5 or more years of progressive relevant finance experience in same or similar industry Additional
Strong knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP), business processes, business theory and principles
SAP experience
Hyperion Financial Systems experience preferred
Computer and systems proficiencies - strong skills in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Access);
Hyperion Essbase experience preferred
Strong analytical, quantitative and problem solving skills
Managerial / Financial Accounting, Standard Cost Accounting, Corporate Finance
Strong Business Partnering, Strong verbal and written communication skills in a global environment.
