DescriptionManufacturing Manager will lead the Manufacturing Department in accomplishing its goals/objectives while ensuring the welfare of departmental employees. Responsible for Directing and coordinating the Manufacturing Engineering Departmentβs production quality control and documentation efforts during department and the development of company goods and services products by ensuring the products are manufactured to perform as designed, meet established quality standards, and are manufactured in a standardized, cost effective, and efficient manner. Support the VP, Inspection, Director of Engineering, Manufacturing, and Mill Services in overseeing the execution of all manufacturing engineering related activities.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead the department in accomplishing its goals/objectives while ensuring the welfare of departmental employees. Responsible for the management and coordination of manufacturing department activities to include establishment of goals and performance objectives for the assigned department(s), task/project execution, production reporting, training, employee development, performance evaluation, and hiring decisions.
- Evaluate departmental processes, methods, and activities to provide solutions in optimizing the use of resources and ensuring the highest level of production quality.
- Advise management of departmental, product, and manufacturing issues which may affect profit, schedule, costs, customer relations, and/or inter-departmental relationships.
- Manage departmental budget and expenditures.
- Collaborate with engineers and other applicable stakeholders for the design of new products, modification of existing designs and improvement of production techniques and technical support of existing product lines.
- Review and provide feedback regarding the execution of scheduled commitments.
- Oversee and manage assigned personnel to ensure proper support of departmental personnel and execution of their responsibilities.
- Ensure appropriate product and project documentation is produced in accordance with all regulatory and contractual requirements.Β
- Perform other work-related tasks as assigned.
- Promote and ensure compliance with all NOV Company and HSE policies and procedures.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Minimum 5 yearβs experience as a Supervisor in a Manufacturing environment, 10 years preferred.
- Pipe Inspection Equipment background preferred.
