Primary Duties & Responsibilities

What You’ll Be Doing (and Absolutely Crushing It):

 

  • Leading lean manufacturing projects for cost reduction, boost productivity, cut waste, and enhance process efficiency across procurement and supply chain.
  • Collaborating with engineering, operations, and quality teams to uncover bottlenecks and find innovative solutions.
  • Work closely with manufacturing, logistics, and finance teams to align supply chain processes with production goals.
  • Lead procurement and supply chain projects, ensuring timelines, budgets, and quality expectations are met.
  • Ensure adherence to industry regulations, quality standards, and company policies.
  • Use data-driven insights to track performance, identify trends, and make informed supply chain decisions.
  • Oversee and improve supply chain operations, ensuring materials are sourced, stocked, and delivered efficiently to meet production demands.
  • Develop and implement strategic sourcing plans to optimize cost savings, quality, and supplier performance.
  • Monitor inventory levels, forecast demand, and mitigate supply chain risks to prevent production delays.
  • Fostering a culture of accountability, teamwork, and relentless improvement.

Qualifications & Required Skills

What We’re Looking For:

 

  • 5+ years of Experience as a Project Manager in Cabinet manufacturing, woodworking, or millwork industries required.
  • A degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or related field. Lean Six Sigma certification (Green Belt or Black Belt) is a plus!
  • You’ve successfully led lean initiatives and know your way around tools like 5S, Kaizen, VSM, and TPM.
  • A proven ability to manage multiple projects from start to finish, balancing budgets, timelines, and resources in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proven experience managing supplier negotiations, contracts, and vendor relationships.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to forecast demand and optimize inventory levels.
  • Knowledge of procurement software, ERP systems, and supply chain best practices.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
