What you’d be doing:
The New Construction Sales Manager will play a critical leadership role in driving the growth and success of Corey Construction’s New Construction business, while also providing oversight and support to the estimating team. This role will manage and motivate the sales team to achieve their goals, while also overseeing the management and continuous improvement of all documented processes related to New Construction Sales and Estimating. The role will report directly to the Division President and be held accountable for revenue growth and achieving sales goals across our Texas regions. 


Key Responsibilities:


Sales Leadership:

  • Lead and manage the new construction roofing sales teams across all markets, ensuring alignment with company goals.
  • Collaborate with sales team to set goals, monitor performance, and drive revenue growth across all markets.
  • Develop and implement sales strategies to capture market share and expand business opportunities in existing and new markets.
  • Coach, train, and motivate all members of the sales team to achieve their goals.
  • Provide the sales team with tools and resources to execute sales activities and gain market share.
  • Assist in crafting targeted messages for sales teams to communicate with customers effectively.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction is always maintained by the sales team.
  • Achieve growth and sales targets by building and managing a high-performing sales team.
  • Own recruiting, objectives setting, coaching, and performance monitoring of sales representatives.
  • Perform ride-a long’s to train the sales team, and travel to regions for sales meetings as needed.
  • Hold the sales team accountable for maintaining a healthy sales pipeline through weekly meetings.
  • Assist leadership with forecasting, budgeting, and goal setting.

Process Management & Improvement:

  • Own the upkeep of all processes related to New Construction sales and estimating for the company, ensuring each department regularly updates their documented processes.
  • Continuously assess and improve sales processes, identifying areas for streamlining and innovation.
  • Assist with organizing CRM systems for the sales team to ensure its effectiveness and functionality.
  • Serve as the point of contact to ensure CRM software (Salesforce for new construction) is up-to-date and all agreed-upon projects are completed in collaboration with department leads.
  • Coordinate with marketing for all efforts to support sales and lead generation.

Training & Development:

  • Oversee the training and development of the sales and estimating teams, focusing on best practices, product knowledge, and selling techniques.
  • Design and implement sales training programs to ensure that all team members are equipped with the tools and knowledge necessary to succeed.
  • Provide coaching and feedback to regional sales managers and team members to drive individual and team performance.
  • Oversee the New Construction Estimating team, including managing the direct report (New Construction Estimating Manager) and ensuring the team meets all goals and metrics.

Strategic Planning:

  • Collaborate with the leadership team to drive company growth, align on market opportunities, and participate in strategic planning.
  • Recommend and design long-term and short-term sales strategies.
  • Work closely with the operations, marketing, and finance teams to ensure that sales strategies align with the overall business objectives.



Requirements

You’re probably a match if you have:

  • Bachelor's degree in construction management, business administration, or a related field preferred.
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in roofing or construction services, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
  • Proven track record of managing a sales team.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient in sales performance management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to travel as required.

Work Location and Hours:

  • Monday to Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Must work a flexible schedule based on department and company needs.
  • In the office, not a remote position.
