SUMMARY: LJA believes effective marketing impacts business success. Whether it be through proposals, graphics, events or campaigns, professional marketers are always helping to elevate the company’s brand and business. At LJA we recognize the importance of marketing and we’re looking for a dynamic Proposal Coordinator to join our growing team! This person will support the development of SOQ’s (Statement of Qualifications) and RFP’s (Request for Proposals) for business growth.
A TYPICAL DAY MIGHT INCLUDE
- Working alongside a Proposal Lead and Capture Manager to assist in planning, developing, and producing “Qualifications” and “Proposals” in response to public and private sector requests.
- Developing and updating existing marketing materials including resumes, project descriptions and other collateral.
- Edit materials for spelling, grammar, clarity, consistency, style, and quality
- Assisting in the ideation of effective graphics, design layouts, templates, and visuals for proposals.
- Maintenance of the marketing department’s databases of proposal content.
QUALIFICATIONS YOU’LL NEED ON DAY ONE
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, Graphics, or related field.
- Prior experience (1-2 years) as a Marketing Coordinator, Proposal Coordinator, or comparable related experience.
- Previous experience working in an AEC related firm (architecture, engineering, or construction company).
- Proficiency in Adobe Suite (InDesign/Photoshop/Illustrator/Acrobat), MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint or other presentation software.
- An eye for layout and design.
- Self-starter/Initiative-taker with a great attitude and ability to work well with others and collaborate with multiple contributors.
- The ability to work under deadlines and manage changing priorities to meet schedules and demand.
