Overview:
CARBO’s Oil and Gas NAM Land Team is seeking a sales representative to represent its innovative and award winning products , including NANOMITE Express, SCALEGUARD, ISP LITE, and products yet to be released. We are seeking an experienced and self-motivated Sales Representative to drive this effort, engage with key players in the industry, and grow our market share.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the direct sales efforts of CARBO’s product portfolio, including NANOMITE Express, SCALEGUARD, ISP LITE, across the southern region North America.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with oil and gas Operators and service companies within the completions and production organizations.
- Identify new business opportunities and proactively develop strategies to expand CARBO's presence in the market.
- Manage the full sales cycle, from prospecting and customer engagement, to closing deals and successful delivery of the product to the point of use.
- Collaborate with technical and operations teams to ensure customers' needs are met with tailored solutions.
- Travel up to 35% to meet with clients, attend industry events, and oversee product deployments as needed.
Required Education, Experience, and Qualifications:
- At least five (5) years of direct sales experience within the oil and gas sector, with proven expertise in completion technologies and working with major operators.
- Strong understanding of the oil and gas industry’s operational needs, particularly in completions, production and proppant applications.
- Self-driven, with the ability to work independently and manage multiple accounts simultaneously.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills with a passion for developing client relationships and offering value-added solutions.
- Exceptional communication skills.
- Flexibility to thrive in an evolving environment that values adaptability and creative problem-solving.
- Ability to travel up to 35%, primarily within designated region.
Working Conditions:
- Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to lift 15 pounds at times.
- Positions self to install equipment, including under desks.
- Moves throughout the building to access files.
- Must be able to comprehend and follow written and oral instructions.
- Must be able to complete tasks even with frequent interruptions.
