  • Identify and evaluate customer needs and offer appropriate solutions.

  • Develop and implement a sales account plan.

  • Promote Rotating Equipment products and services to customers including, but not limited to; positive displacement pumps, blowers, compressors and their accessories, centrifugal pumps and pump packages and accessories and related process equipment such as vacuum pumps, static vacuum equipment, mixers and heat exchangers.

  • Interface with Management, Inside Sales and other Company sales and account teams to communicate activities, opportunities, issues, and status of goals, all designed to deliver the total Company value.

  • Develop and maintain customer relationships.

  • Attend technical conferences and product and technical training sessions.

  • Establish and maintain relationships with Engineering, Purchasing, Maintenance departments, other key decision makers and Principals.

  • Conduct product demonstrations and technical presentations.

  • Provide technical assistance to other Sales and Operations personnel.

  • Present and specifies products for varied applications. Determines application and specification of products.

  • Help develop sales forecast and strategy to accomplish goal.

  • Expedite for customer - customer rep within the Company.

  • Provide input and feedback relative to pricing and sales margins.

    Basic Qualifications



    • BS/BA Degree in Business or Engineering related disciplines. Alternative AS/AA degree and two plus years of experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Technical degrees are preferred.

    • Basic knowledge of the oil & gas industry - up, mid and downstream. Solid knowledge of basic hydraulic principles and pumping systems and related equipment.

    • 3-5 Years technical sales/customer service experience required including experience of prospecting, cold calling and presentations to customers.

    • Good Computer skill proficiency with MS Office and Outlook.

    • Strong written and oral communication skills including formal presentation skills.

    • Solid interpersonal skills; specifically engaged listening and acknowledging skills, as well as questioning and discovery skills.
