Responsibilities
- Assist with the month-end and year-end closing process
- Record and track assets including additions, transfers and disposals, and generate assets roll-forward schedules
- Perform income statement variance analysis
- Perform bank reconciliations and reconcile general ledger accounts
- Responsible for a portion of brine production accounting invoicing
- Adhere to deadlines established on monthly close calendar
- Participate in audits and provide necessary support to comply with requests for information
- Assist with development of processes to streamline accounting processes
- Respond to upper management requests and questions regarding accounting related practices and processes
- Research accounting issues as needed
- Other duties as assigned
Position Qualifications
- Degree in Accounting or 10 years' experience in industry
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Work, and PowerPoint)
- SAP or ERP experience required
- Variance analysis experience required

Working Conditions
- In-office environment. Computer, email, and phone related tasks.
- Reports to Texas United Management Corporation’s Assistant Controller
- Create effective working relationship with Accounting team and Operations team
