Trisian-Global Consulting LLC is seeking a Senior Construction Manager in Houston TX for a full-time permanent position.

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Construction Manager with aΒ proven track record of successfully managing construction projects from start to finish. As a Senior Construction Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating all aspects of the construction process, ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, organize, and manage construction projects from conception to completion
  • Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and resource plans
  • Oversee and coordinate all on-site activities including subcontractors, suppliers, and construction workers
  • Ensure compliance with building codes, safety regulations, and other legal requirements
  • Interacts with planning commissions and government bodies.
  • Coordinates costing estimation, contract negotiation and remodeling activities.Β Β 
  • Develop and organize assignments, timetables, and responsibilities for team members for the duration of the project.
  • Monitor project progress and make necessary adjustments to ensure timely completion
  • Review and approve project designs, plans, and specifications
  • Conduct regular site visits to ensure quality control and identify any potential issues
  • Communicate with clients, stakeholders, and team members to provide project updates and address any concerns
  • Manage project documentation and maintain accurate records
  • Mentor and train junior team members
  • Collaborate with other departments and external partners to ensure project success

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field. Other related industry certifications are encouraged - PMP, and CPM.
  • Experience with projects such as new construction, renovations, and infrastructure renewals.
  • Minimum of 6 years of direct project management experience in the Building Construction Industry
  • Proficient in Project Management, project scheduling software (Microsoft Project and/or Primavera P6), and financial accounting systems.
  • Advanced working knowledge of project scheduling and documentation techniques and processes.
  • Proven experience managing multiple projects simultaneously
  • Strong knowledge of construction processes, building codes, and safety regulations
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
