Noble Corporation is hiring for Senior Manager of Global Warehouse at our corporate office. Responsible for the daily running of all Noble own warehouses as well as storage location with 3rd parties. The Senior Manager, Global Warehousing is serving as an expert in warehouse management and operation, best practices in inventory control and industry leading safety standards.
The main priority of the role is assuming responsibility for maintaining operations within Noble’s network of global warehouses. This includes, but is not limited to, daily operations, continuous improvement efforts, sustainability initiatives, safety initiatives, budget creation and maintenance, team management, and cost savings initiatives. Additional emphasis is placed on collaboration with internal stakeholders to bring transparency and efficiency to warehouse operations and correct ERP utilization. Further the warehouse global footprint needs to be reduced significantly through clean up and consolidation which will be a main deliverables for this role..

Responsibility

  • Manage all aspects of global warehouse operations, including oversight and improvements on receiving, storage inventory management, fulfillment, shipping, and OSD best practices.
  • Lead a global team of warehouse managers and warehouse professionals, focusing on the mentoring and development of warehouse staff.
  • Create and promote a culture of safety, efficiency, and continuous improvement.
  • Lead the global warehousing team with an emphasis on prioritizing service to offshore rigs.
  • Foster a culture of transparent and timely communication with internal stakeholders to ensure that SLA’s and KPI’s are consistently met.
  • Take initiative to ensure decision-makers have all necessary information to make informed decisions.
  • Analyze and improve warehouse processes and workflows to enhance operational efficiency and reduce costs while maintaining high service levels.
  • Align the global warehouse team with broader organizational strategies aimed at driving cost savings, consolidating warehouse space, and enhancing sustainability and safety practices.
  • Collaborate with SCM leaders to focus on streamlining inventory levels to optimize efficiency both operationally and financially to support larger organizational goals.
  • Oversee inventory control procedures, ensuring accurate counting, tracking, and reporting of inventory levels
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to reduce inventory levels, and regularly review inventory for divestment/scrap opportunities to drive down storage costs.
  • Collaborate with technical teams to ensure asset preservation efforts are properly maintained and audited.
  • Lead efforts to coordinate logistics activities with the Logistics Manager, focusing on efficiency, service, and continuous improvement.
  • Drive initiatives to ensure compliance with all regulatory and safety standards related to warehouse operations, including environmental regulations specific to the offshore drilling industry.
  • Develop and manage the global warehousing budget.
  • Take the initiative to identify savings opportunities related to warehouse consolidation, shore base clean up, and third-party warehousing costs.
  • Lead the development of KPIs related to warehouse operations and implement corrective actions as needed.
  • Leverage Noble’s ERP system to improve tracking, reporting, and operational efficiency through collaboration with the BPO team.
  • Workplace should be in one of the Noble warehouse hubs (Aberdeen, Houston, New Iberia, Stavanger or Tinglev) but the role requires to travel to all Noble owned warehouses on regular basis to encourage team collaboration, a hands-on approach to leadership, and empowering all warehouse staff to voice opinions and concerns.
  • Create third-party warehouse audit processes to ensure best in class handling of Noble materials and compliance with annual cycle count requirements.
  • Take ownership of Noble warehouse inventory counts, ensuring 100% completion annually.
  • Perform any other duties as assigned.

Qualification Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Warehouse Management, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Minimum of 7-10 years of progressive experience in warehouse management, preferably in the offshore drilling or related industry.
  • In-depth knowledge of warehousing best practices, inventory management, and supply chain logistics.
  • Strong understanding of technology solutions, warehousing systems, inventory best practices, and offshore drilling asset storage requirements.
  • Proven experience in managing budgets, personnel, maintenance, and operations of shore-based facilities.
  • Demonstrated expertise in developing and managing a global strategy and network of warehouses.
  • Proficiency in developing and implementing warehousing policies and procedures, ensuring alignment with regulatory standards.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively manage internal stakeholders, external regulatory bodies, and when necessary, authorities.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to drive cost-saving initiatives and enhance supply chain efficiency.
  • Proficiency in data analysis and reporting, with experience in generating and maintaining management oversight reports.
  • Proven leadership abilities with a track record of mentoring and developing team members.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Ability to adapt to a fast-paced and dynamic work environment, managing multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in relevant software and tools, such as ERP systems, trade compliance software platforms, and Microsoft Office Suite.
